I have released a new pattern tested by FTP Ravelry community. 'The Pretty Waves Headband' is a super chic earwarmer for the chilly days and quick to complete! I love one-night projects!
My nieces are looking super pretty wearing the headbands:
With basic knitting stitches you can create this earwarmer in a few hours. I recommend it for advanced beginner / intermediate knitters, who know how to knit, purl, decrease and increase. Basic crochet skills are also required. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes: small adult/teen (approx. 16.6” / 48 cm long) and medium/large adult (21” / 54 cm), with a loose fit.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy (for intermediate knitters)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (AFTER BLOCKING AND EDGING): Small size: 19” / 48 cm Medium/Large Adult size: 21”/ 54 cm(fits loosely)
MATERIALS:- yarn: worsted weight / 10 ply (9 wpi) approx. 50 yard (46 m)
- knitting needles: size US 7 / 4.5 mm
- crochet hook: size US H / 5 mm
- button: diameter: 0.5 inch / 2 cm
- tapestry needle (to weave the ends and attach the button)
- pins (for blocking)
